Abstract: In the title cobaltocenium compound, [Co(C₆H₇)(C₁₈H₁₆P)]PF₆, the Co^III atom is bound to methylcyclopentadienenyl and ⁵-2-(diphenylphosphino)-1-methylcyclopentadienyl ligands inclined to each other at 1.3 (2)°.
