Aqua[(benzothiazol-2-ylsulfanyl)acetato-O]bis(1,10-phenanthroline-²N,N')cadmium(II) nitrate monohydrate

Abstract: In the title compound, [Cd(C₉H₆NO₂S₂)(C₁₂H₈N₂)₂(H₂O)]NO₃·H₂O, the Cd atom is coordinated by four N atoms [Cd-N = 2.376 (3)-2.394 (3)Å] and two O atoms [Cd-O = 2.240 (2)-2.274 (3)Å] in a distorted octahedral geometry. The crystal structure exhibits intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds and - stacking interactions.
