Abstract: The metal coordination polyhedron of the title complex, [PtCl₄(C₁₃H₂₂N₂O)₂], is a slightly distorted PtN₂Cl₄ octahedron. The E configurations of the trans imino ligands are stabilized by intramolecular N-HN hydrogen bonds.
