Bis(tetraphenylarsonium) hexabromorhenate(IV)

Abstract: The title compound, (C₂₄H₂₀As)₂[ReBr₆], consists of tetraphenylarsonium cations and [ReBr₆]^2- dianions, the latter lying on inversion centres. A possible C-HBr interaction stabilizes the crystal packing.
