Abstract: In the title polymeric complex, [Cu(C₆H₈O₄)₂(C₇H₆N₂S)₂]_n, the Cu^II centres are bridged by the dicarboxylate ions in a bis-bidentate fashion, forming polymeric chains. The Cu atoms and dicarboxylate bridges both lie on inversion centres. Interchain N-HO hydrogen bonds connect the chains into two-dimensional layers.
