Abstract: In the title compound, C10H10N2O3, the five-membered imidazolidine ring is planar, with an r.m.s. derivation of 0.0243 (1)Å. The dihedral angle between the imidazolidine ring and the phenyl ring is 78.83 (2)°. A centrosymmetric ring is formed by a pair of N-H
O hydrogen bonds, creating a dimer; C-H
O hydrogen bonds connect these dimers into a three-dimensional network.
