4-Nitro-N-[4-(4-nitrophenoxy)phenyl]benzamide

Abstract: The title compound, C₁₉H₁₃N₃O₆, is a precursor for the synthesis of polymers. The molecule is not planar and the terminal benzene rings are almost perpendicular to each other, at an angle of 85.19 (7)°. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked by C-HO and N-HO intermolecular hydrogen bonds to form a one-dimensional network parallel to the bc face.
