1-[1-(2-Chlorophenyl)ethylidene]thiosemicarbazide

Abstract: The title compound, C₉H₁₀CIN₃S, was prepared by the reaction of thiosemicarbazide with 1-(2-chlorophenyl)ethanone at room temperature. The packing is stabilized by hydrogen bonds. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked into two-dimensional layers by intermolecular N-HS hydrogen-bonding interactions.
