Abstract: In the title compound, [Zn(C₃₀H₂₈BN₆)(C₄H₃N₂O₃)]·CH₃OH, the Zn^II atom is coordinated in a tetrahedral geometry by three N atoms from the pyrazolyl groups of the tripodal ligand, and by one O atom from a barbiturate anion.
