J. B. Kyziol and J. Zaleski

Abstract: The title compound, C28H18, has two nearly planar anthracenyl fragments which are twisted with respect to one another by 80.54 (2)° around the central C-C bond which is very long [1.4954 (17) Å]. The structure differs from the already known polymorph [Langer, Sieler & Becker (1992). Z. Kristallogr. 199, 300-303].
