Abstract: The N-containing ring of the tetrahydroisoquinolinium ion of the title compound, C₁₉H₂₄NO₃⁺·SCN^-, has a half-chair conformation. There is a network of hydrogen bonds between the phenolic groups and thiocyanate anions.
