Abstract: The molecule of the title mononuclear compound, [Ni(C₁₃H₁₆NO₂)₂], possesses crystallographic inversion symmetry. The Ni atom, lying on the inversion centre, is four-coordinated in a square-planar geometry by two Schiff base ligands.
