Dibutylbis(3,5-dinitrobenzoato-O)tin(IV) toluene solvate

Abstract: In the title compound, [Sn(C₄H₉)₂(C₇H₃N₂O₆)₂]·C₇H₈, the Sn^IV atom is in a distorted tetrahedral environment. The nitro groups are twisted slightly away from the planes of the attached benzene rings. The molecules are linked by intermolecular C-HO interactions and short ON contacts, forming sheet-like structures paralled to the ab plane, and are cross-linked by - interactions.
