Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, C₁₈H₁₁ClN₂O₄, contains intra- and intermolecular hydrogen bonds that link the ketone and hydroxyl groups. The intermolecular hydrogen bond results in the formation of a dimer with an R₂²(12) graph-set motif.
