Diaquabis(3-hydroxybenzoato-O)bis(1,10-phenanthroline-²N,N')barium(II)

Abstract: The two independent molecules of the title compound, [Ba(C₇H₅O₃)₂(C₁₂H₈N₂)₂(H₂O)₂], are disposed about a pseudo-inversion centre. The Ba atom is eight-coordinate in a square-antiprismatic geometry in both molecules.
