Abstract: The title compound, C₃₂H₂₆N₂S₂, is a new spiro thiooxindole derivative which was synthesized with the aim that it might be effective in treating a number of diseases. In spite of the existence of the Csp³ atom, the thiooxindole group is almost planar. There are a number of intramolecular C-HS hydrogen bonds.
