Cyclohexane-1,4-diammonium tetrahydroxotetraborate 2.5-hydrate

Abstract: In the title compound, [C₆H₁₀(NH₃)₂]²⁺·[B₄O₅(OH)₄]^2-·2.5H₂O, the asymmetric unit contains one anion, two half-cations and 2.5 water molecules. Each cation is centrosymmetric. In the crystal structure, the anions are connected to each other via hydrogen bonding, forming a three-dimensional framework with rectangular channels, which are occupied by the templating organic amine cations and guest water molecules.
