2-(Benzotriazol-1-yl)-1-(4-methylbenzoyl)ethyl 2,4-dichlorobenzoate

Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C₂₃H₁₇Cl₂N₃O₃, the nearly planar benzotriazole system is oriented at dihedral angles of 19.53 (1) and 62.95 (1)°, respectively, with respect to the tolyl and dichlorophenyl rings. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked into chains along the a axis by intermolecular C-HO hydrogen bonds.
