Bis(2-acetyl-1-naphtholato-²O,O')copper(II)

Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Cu(C₁₂H₉O₂)₂], contains one half-molecule; the Cu atom lies on a centre of symmetry. The chelate ring is not planar and has a twist conformation. The dihedral angle between the naphthalene six-membered rings is 3.55 (3)°.
