Dichlorobis(dipyrido[3,2-a:2'3'-c]phenazine-²N,N)zinc(II)

Abstract: In the title compound, [ZnCl₂(C₁₈H₁₀N₄)₂], the Zn^II atom, lying on a crystallographic twofold rotation axis, is six-coordinated in an octahedral geometry by two Cl^- ions and four N atoms from two dipyrido[3,2-a:2'3'-c]phenazine ligands. Neighboring molecules interact through - contacts, forming a supramolecular structure.
