3N,N',N'')(trithiocyanurato-
2N,S)zinc(II)Abstract: The structure of the title compound, [Zn(C9H23N3)(C3HN3S3)], consists of discrete molecules connected by N-H
S hydrogen bonds into centrosymmetric dimers. The ZnII atom is pentacoordinated in a deformed trigonal-bipyramidal geometry by three N atoms of a tridentate N,N,N',N'',N''-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine ligand, and one S and one N atoms of a trithiocyanurate dianion bonded as a bidentate ligand. The crystal structure is further stabilized by close contacts of the types C-H
S and C-H
N.
