Abstract: The title compound, disodium bis(2-aminopyridinium) hexa-
3-hydroxidohexa-
2-oxidododecaoxidohexamolybdonickel;ate(II) dihydrate, Na2(C5H7N2)2[H6NiMo6O24]·2H2O, features
-type Anderson heteropolyoxometalate anions (Ni site symmetry
). These anions are connected to 2-aminopyridinium cations and water molecules via N-H
O and O-H
O hydrogen bonds to form a three-dimensional network.
