Disodium 4-nitrophenyl phosphate trihydrate

M. Kuczek, I. Bryndal, J. Malinowska and T. Lis

Abstract: The title compound, 2Na+·C6H4NO6P2-·3H2O, crystallizes from acetone with one 4-nitrophenyl phosphate dianion, two Na+ cations and three water molecules in the asymmetric unit. In the crystal packing, layers parallel to the ab plane are formed by Na+ cations chelated by dianions, and bridged by dianions and water molecules. Adjacent layers are linked through O-H...O hydrogen bonds.
