N-[1-(Benzylaminocarbonyl)-2-(4-chlorophenyl)ethyl]benzamide

Abstract: The title compound, C₂₃H₁₉ClN₂O₂, has been obtained by the reaction of (Z)-4-(4-chlorobenzylidene)-2-phenyloxazol-5(4H)-one and benzylamide. The molecules are connected by two N-HO intermolecular hydrogen bonds to form helicoidal chains running parallel to the c axis.
