(1-Ferrocenylbutane-1,3-dionato)[tris(2-aminoethyl)amine]cobalt(II) chloride tetraphenylborate acetone solvate

Abstract: Acetoacetylferrocene reacted with cobalt chloride and tris(2-aminoethyl)amine in methanol to give the title complex, [CoFe(C₅H₅)(C₉H₈O₂)(C₆H₁₈N₄)](C₂₄H₂₀B)Cl·C₃H₆O, with acetoacetylferrocene and a tripod amine as ligands. The Co atom has slightly distorted octahedral coordination.
