Abstract: The title compound, C₇H₆F₂N₂O, is an important intermediate for the synthesis of biologically active heterocyclic compounds. The hydrazide group is nearly coplanar with the benzene ring. The crystal packing is stabilized by N-HO and N-HN hydrogen-bond interactions.
