Abstract: The title compound, [Zr₂Cl₈(C₆H₆ClN)₂], is centrosymmetric. Each Zr^IV ion has distorted octahedral coordination geometry, formed by one N atom from a 4-chloroaniline ligand, three terminal Cl^- ions and two bridging Cl^- ions. The Zr--Cl bond distances are much longer than the other Zr-Cl bond distances.
