3,4-Dimethyl-2-phenyl-1-phosphaferrocene

Abstract: The geometric parameters of the title compound, [Fe(C₅H₅)(C₁₂H₁₂P)], are in the usual ranges. The dihedral angle between the two five-membered rings is 5.73 (11)° and the phenyl ring is twisted by 49.65 (5)° with respect to the phosphacyclopentadienyl ring.
