Abstract: In the title compound, [Ni(C₁₃H₁₂Br₂N₄)₂](ClO₄)₂, the cationic monomeric complex has a ligand-metal ratio of 2:1, with the Ni^II atom lying at the centre of a distorted octahedral geometry. The cation is surrounded by six nitrogen donors of two tridentate ligands, and the cationic character of the group is balanced by two perchlorate counter-ions per formula unit.
