1,3-Bis(6-methyl-2-pyridylimino)-2,3-dihydro-1H-isoindoline

Abstract: The title compound, C₂₀H₁₇N₅, has two molecules in the asymmetric unit with comparable conformations. In each molecule, the isoindoline group and one methylpyridyl ring are coplanar, while the other methylpyridyl rings form angles with respect to these planes of 43.2 (2) and 37.6 (2)°.
