A cocrystal of friedelan-3-ol and friedelin (0.75/0.25)

Abstract: The title cocrystal, 0.75C₃₀H₅₁O·0.25C₃₀H₅₀O, is a disordered mixture of two compounds, viz friedelan-3-ol and friedelin, which were isolated from Artocarpus altilis. The compound crystallizes with two disordered molecules in the asymmetric unit. In both components, three of the five cyclohexane rings adopt chair conformations, one adopts a twist-boat conformation and the fifth is in a boat conformation.
