Tetraaquabis[4-(imidazol-1-yl)benzoato-N³]nickel(II)

Abstract: In the title structure, [Ni(C₁₀H₇N₂O₂)₂(H₂O)₄], the Ni^II atom occupies an inversion centre and is coordinated by two N atoms from two 4-(imidazol-1-yl)benzoate ligands and four water molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular O-HO hydrogen bonds.
