N3]nickel(II)Abstract: In the title structure, [Ni(C10H7N2O2)2(H2O)4], the NiII atom occupies an inversion centre and is coordinated by two N atoms from two 4-(imidazol-1-yl)benzoate ligands and four water molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular O-H
O hydrogen bonds.
