2N,O]copper(II)Abstract: The title complex, [Cu(C21H14NO)2], possesses a crystallographically imposed center of symmetry. The CuII atom is coordinated by the two bidentate ligands in a trans arrangement, forming a CuN2O2 square-planar configuration, with Cu-O and Cu-N bond lengths of 1.871 (3) and 1.981 (3) Å, respectively.
