Tetra--acetato-⁸O:O'-bis[(4-dimethylaminopyridine-N)copper(II)]

Abstract: The title dinuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu₂(C₂H₃O₂)₄(C₇H₁₀N₂)₂], posseses a crystallographically imposed center of symmetry. All bond lengths and angles in the Cu₂O₈N₂ core show normal values [Cu-O = 1.9657 (18)-1.9844 (16) Å and Cu-N = 2.1635 (19) Å]. The intramolecular CuCu separation is 2.658 (7) Å.
