-1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane] N,N-dimethylformamide solvate]: a chiral one-dimensional coordination polymerAbstract: In the title compound, {[Co(C8H4O4)(C6H12N2)(H2O)2]·C3H7NO}n, the Co atom is coordinated by the two N atoms from two 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane (dabco) ligands, two O atoms from two isophthalate dianions and two water molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. The dabco molecules function as
2-bridging ligands, forming polymeric linear chains running along the c axis. The crystal structure is stabilized by intermolecular O-H
O hydrogen bonds.
