3N)cadmium(II) naphthalene-1,5-disulfonateAbstract: In the title compound, [Cd(C4H13N3)2](C10H6O6S2), the Cd atom, located on an inversion centre, is six-coordinated by two diethylenetriamine ligands. The anion is centrosymmetric. The metal complex cations are connected to naphthalene-1,5-disulfonate anions via weak self-complementary N-H
O hydrogen bonds into two-dimensional extended sheets, which are further linked into three-dimensional networks with channels along the a axis.
