(-)-(2R,3R)-O,O'-Dibenzoyl-(2R,3R)-tartaric acid-hexamethylphosphoramide (1/2)

Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₈H₁₄O₈·2C₆H₁₈N₃OP, one acid and two phosphoramide molecules are linked together by strong O-HO hydrogen bonds. There are two crystallographically independent amide-acid assemblies in the asymmetric unit. Three of the four symmetry-independent phosphoramide molecules adopt propeller-like conformations. The crystal structure is additionally stabilized by C-HO interactions.
