Abstract: In the title compound, C₁₂H₉BrClN₃O₃, the nitro group lies in the plane of the imidazole ring, whereas the benzene and acetyl groups are markedly twisted relative to the heterocyclic ring. A weak C-HO interaction helps to establish the crystal packing.
