{[mu]4-3,3'-Bi[tricyclo[2.2.1.02,6]heptaphosphane](4-)}tetrakis[bis(1,2-dimethoxyethane)sodium(I)]

H.-W. Lerner and M. Bolte

Abstract: The centrosymmetric molecules of the title compound, [Na4(P14)(C4H10O2)8], contain two P7 clusters connected by a P-P single bond and bridged by two Na atoms. In addition, two terminal Na atoms are attached to the P clusters. The Na atoms are also coordinated by two dimethoxyethane molecules, resulting in distorted cis-NaP2O4 octahedra.
