trans-Bis[(2E)-3-(N,N-dimethylamino)-1-(2-pyridyl)prop-2-en-1-one-²N,O]bis(perchlorato-O)cadmium(II)

Abstract: In the title compound, [Cd(ClO₄)₂(C₁₀H₁₂N₂O)₂], the Cd atom (site symmetry $\\overline{1}$ ) is trans-coordinated by two N,O-bidentate chelating (2E)-3-(N,N-dimethylamino)-1-(2-pyridyl)prop-2-en-1-one ligands, and by two O atoms from two perchlorate anions, in a slightly distorted octahedral geometry.
