Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C11H11F4NO2, the amide plane is oriented with respect to the planar aromatic ring at a dihedral angle of 19.5 (3)°. In the crystal structure, the molecules are linked firstly into centrosymmetric dimers, and then into infinite chains by intermolecular N-H
O and O-H
O hydrogen bonds, respectively.
