2-(2-Chloroacetyl)-6,7-dimethoxy-1-(phenoxymethyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline

Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C₂₀H₂₂ClNO₄, the N-containing six-membered ring is not planar and has a twist conformation. It also has a pseudo-twofold axis passing through the mid-points of the C-C fusion bond and the opposite N-C bond. The dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 83.02 (1)°.
