Abstract: In the molecule of the title compound, C15H12O2, all three rings are, of course, planar. The oxirane ring makes dihedral angles of 82.12 (2) and 70.37 (2)° with the phenyl rings. The phenyl rings make a dihedral angle of 78.17 (1)°.
