Abstract: The molecule of the title compound, [Cr(C₁₀H₁₆Si)(CO)₃], has an eclipsed orientation of the Cr(CO)₃ group relative to three benzene ring atoms. The atoms attached to the benzene ring show very small deviations from the benzene plane in the direction towards the Cr atom.
