{2-Bromo-4-chloro-6-[2-(isopropylammonio)ethyliminomethyl]phenolato}dichloridozinc(II)

F.-W. Wang, Y.-J. Wei and Q.-Y. Zhu

Abstract: The title compound, [ZnCl2(C12H16BrClN2O)], is a mononuclear Schiff base complex of zinc(II). The Zn atom binds to the imine N and phenolate O atoms of the chelating Schiff base ligand and to two Cl- anions in a tetrahedral geometry. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked through intermolecular N-H...Cl, C-H...Br and C-H...Cl hydrogen bonds, forming a network.
