{2-Bromo-4-chloro-6-[2-(isopropylammonio)ethyliminomethyl]phenolato}dichloridozinc(II)

Abstract: The title compound, [ZnCl₂(C₁₂H₁₆BrClN₂O)], is a mononuclear Schiff base complex of zinc(II). The Zn atom binds to the imine N and phenolate O atoms of the chelating Schiff base ligand and to two Cl^- anions in a tetrahedral geometry. In the crystal structure, molecules are linked through intermolecular N-HCl, C-HBr and C-HCl hydrogen bonds, forming a network.
