Abstract: The asymmetric unit of the title compound, [Cd(C₁₃H₉BrClN₂O)₂]·CH₃OH·H₂O, comprises a mononuclear cadmium(II) complex, a methanol molecule and an uncoordinated water molecule. The Cd^II atom is coordinated by two tridentate Schiff base ligands in a distorted octahedral geometry.
