Abstract: The title compound C6H15N2O2+·C2Cl3O2-, crystallizes with one lysinium cation and one trichloroacetate anion in the asymmetric unit. The cations are linked through a number of intermolecular N-H...O hydrogen bonds, forming a slab-like structure in the ab plane.
