L-Lysinium trichloroacetate

Abstract: The title compound C₆H₁₅N₂O₂⁺·C₂Cl₃O₂^-, crystallizes with one lysinium cation and one trichloroacetate anion in the asymmetric unit. The cations are linked through a number of intermolecular N-HO hydrogen bonds, forming a slab-like structure in the ab plane.
