A centrosymmetric polymorph of bis[₂-bis(diphenylphosphino)methane]di-₃-bromo-di-₂-bromo-tetrasilver(I)

Abstract: The crystal structure of the title compound, [Ag₄Br₄(C₂₅H₂₂P₂)₂], was recently reported by Di Nicola, Effendy, Pettinari, Skelton, Somers & White [(2006). Inorg. Chim. Acta, 359, 53-63] in the non-centrosymmetric space group Pca2₁. We report here a polymorphic structure in a centrosymmetric space group. The molecular structure is essentially the same in both polymorphs.
