Abstract: The Gd atom in the title title complex, [Gd(NO₃)₂(C₂₆H₃₄N₆O₂)]NO₃·H₂O, exhibits a nine-coordinate distorted tricapped trigonal prismatic coordination geometry. The water molecule is disordered, with restrained occupancy factors of 0.4 and 0.6, with one component lying on a twofold rotation axis.
