Abstract: The ligand of the title compound, {[Cu(C₁₂H₁₁NO₂)(H₂O)]·H₂O}_n, has been synthesized from o-aminobenzoic acid and acetyl acetone. Bond lengths and angles show normal values. The crystal structure is stabilized by several hydrogen bonds.
